William C 'Bill' Knoblauch

William C. Knoblauch, 69, of Monclova Twp. passed away peacefully January 8, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by his loving family. William was born on April 21, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio. He was the son of Lewis Knoblauch and Joyce (Durbin) Knoblauch. While in college, he was a member of Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity. William retired from Modern Builders Supply after over 30 years. William was an avid bowler for over many years and earned a trophy in 2009 for a 299 game. During retirement William enjoyed working at The New Glass Bowl Lanes. He was also an active member of Arlington Lutheran Church for 40 years, serving as an elder for more than 30 years, and a current member of the Hosanna Lutheran Church. William is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Carol (Wollenweber) Knoblauch; his son, Brian (Kate) Knoblauch; his sister Padget (Steve) Noble, and his brother Glenn (Roberta) Knoblauch. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bersticker- Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43614 at Byrne Road on Sunday January 10, 2016 from 2-8pm, where funeral service will be held on January 11, 2016 at 10:30 am. A procession follows to Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial. Memorial contributions can be made out to Hosanna Lutheran Church or Hospice of NW Ohio.
