Wanda Taylor

Wanda Lee Taylor, 84, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 15, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Ohio, after a brief illness. Born June 4, 1940, in Liberty, Kentucky to Melvin Ernest and Louvinia Frances (Wilkinson) Shoopman. Mrs. Taylor worked for the former St. Ann's nursing home as a nurse's aide for several years. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Northwest Baptist Church.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, son J.C. Baldock Jr, one brother, and many sisters. Surviving is her son, John Melvin (Amy Jo Luedtke) Baldock; daughter, Thelma Geanie Garczynski; brother, Ernest Shoopman; grandchildren, J.J. White, Toni Garczynski, Rebecca (Joshua) Shake, Zachariah (Andrea) Garczynski, Joshua Evearitt, Stacy Ann Bean, also surviving numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd, on Friday, March 21, 2025, after 12:00 Noon. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Andrew Edwards III officiating.
