Tanja R. Hens

Tanja Hens, 49, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2017 at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital. Tanja was born to Mary Ann Wolfe on January 21,1968. She grew up in Weston, Ohio with her 6 brothers Bill, Floyd, Gary, Dale, Kevin and John, and her 2 sisters Mary and Regina. She moved to Toledo, where she had her son Nathan in 1986. Three years later she had her daughter Nicole in 1989. About 6 years after she had Nicole, She met the love of her life, her soul mate, Chris Hens, and finally after years of him asking, married him on November 15, 2001. Tanja was a very happy woman that was always the life of the party and would do anything she could to help out another person, even if it meant taking from her family to help another. She had an extremely large heart and had a lot of love to give. She will be extremely missed by her loved ones and friends. Left to honor and remember her memory is her husband Chris, children Nathan and Nicole, grandchildren Cah'Mirrah and Desmond as well as her mother Mary Ann and all of her brothers and sisters. We will have a memorial luncheon on Saturday June 17,2017 at 2:00pm. Phoenix Masonic Lodge 590 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, Oho 43551 Tanja's family would like to thank the ICU staff at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital for doing everything they could and making her comfortable. We would also like to thank everyone who has had us in their thoughts and prayers during this hard time. We are forever grateful.
