Shirley M. McManus Shirley M. McManus, age 75 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday May 14, 2011 in her residence. Mrs. McManus was born in Masontown, Pa. on September 8, 1935. She was the daughter of Warren and Bessey (Kresont) Hughes. Shirley for Concord Care Center and was also a sales clerk at number of department stores in Toledo. Shirley was also a member of Church of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and Triune Chapter No. 344. Surviving is her husband, George McManus, daughters, Deborah Phelps, Kimberly Sue (Wayne) Vanplet, 4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Marie Smargie, brother, Isaac Hughes, Shirley was preceded in death 2 sisters and2 brothers. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Haky Funeral Home 515 N. Main St Masontown, Pa, On Wednesday May 18, 2011 6-8 P.M. where services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday May 19, 2011. Pastor Maryann Fullerton of Masontown United Methodist Church officiating.
