Sharon A Navarre, age 63 of Toledo, lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. She was born to the late George Miller and Frances Watson Miller in Fairfax County, Virginia on May 16, 1952. Sharon was the kind of person who always put others before herself. She was employed as a Nursing Assistant for 27 years at Heartland of Oregon, where she showed her love for others by caring for the residents there. Family and friends were Sharon's love and joy. She loved spending time with her family, going camping, traveling, and cooking that delicious southern food. Sharon and her husband George, took a cruise where they were able to swim with stingrays. They were planning to retire and travel around the Smoky Mountains where her lifelong dream was to meet Dolly Parton. She loved listening to the good old country music such as Elvis, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline. She was very active and loved being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Sharon is survived by her husband, George M. Navarre; her daughter, Jenniffer Rollman; her sons, William (Becky) Upham, Robert (Nicole) Upham and son, George Navarre II. Missing her also are her two sisters, Joanne Miller and MaryJo (Dean) Whitmore. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren; 2 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 great-nephews and 1 great-niece. Sharon's family will receive family and friends Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 5-7:30pm at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home at 3453 Heatherdowns at Byrne Rd with a memorial service held at 7:30pm. Arrangements were provided by Caring Cremations Services and Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home.
