Sandra Consuelo Elizondo Sandra C Elizondo "Sandi", 44 of South Toledo was called home Thursday May 31, 2012. Sandra was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 2, 1967 to Sixto and Sabina (Martinez) Elizondo Sr. Sandi will always be remembered for her glowing beautiful smile, her humorous and fun loving personality, her big forgiving heart and her unconditional love for her family and for Jesus. She loved to cook, listen to music, talk on the phone and ride in the wind on a motorcycle. She had a passion for shopping for shoes and clothes. The eldest of six siblings, Sandi enjoyed spending time with her family and would always make everyone laugh. She had a unique relationship with each of her nieces and nephews, giving them their own little nicknames that only "Tia Sandi" could do. Her morning tasks included a daily long distance phone conversation with her parents and would not let the day pass without seeing or talking to her sisters and brother. Her children were her pride and joy. She loved them and her grandchildren deeply. Sandi is loved by many and will be painfully missed until we are reunited with her again. She has left to cherish her memory her daughter, Marisa (Josh) Martinez; sons, Estevan (Christy) Cortez, Vincent (Adrianna) Martinez; grandchildren, Adrian, Sebastian, Araceli, and Joshua "Sonny"; step sons Richie, Anthony (Rene) and Joe-Joe (Angelina) Soria; Parents, Sixto and Sabina Elizondo Sr., sisters, Sabina (Mike) Serratos, Irene Elizondo, Consuelo (Armando) Nino, Gregoria (Richard) Gutierrez, brother, Sixto "Tito" Elizondo Jr.; nephews and nieces Jessina, Julian, Martina, Sirena, Santos, Jay Jay, Baby Tito, Armando Jr, Mikey, Analicia, Antonio, Martin, MiCaela, April, Jordan, Miranda, Angelo, RJ, Arturo, Alannah, Julian Jr., and baby J; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Richard Soria; cousins April Martinez, Gloria Ruiz and Cayetano Martinez Jr.; Uncles Marcos Elizondo and Simon Martinez; maternal grandparents Eusebio and Concepcion Martinez; paternal grandparents Marcos and Consuelo Elizondo. The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Tuesday June 5, 2012 2-8 P.M. where services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
