Ruth Ann Sovich

Ruth Ann Sovich, age 84, of Independence, Missouri Passed away April 25, 2015 in Vista Hospice Care. Ruth was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 11, 1931 to Conrad and Mabel (Bertholf) Gernheuser. Ruth worked for the Lion store as a clerk at the Westgate store in the Women's clothing. Ruth was Preceded in death by her husband Brenton G. Sovich in 2011. Surviving are her brother, Theodore (Joanne) Gernheuser, Sisters-in-law Jo and Judy Gernheuser, Barbara Wyatt, and cousin, Nancy Einhart. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews and dear friends Kent and Linda Kubach. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Vista Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion shown towards Ruth. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. at Byrne Road, Friday May 1, 2015 from 2-8p.m. where services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m..
