Roger Gramza, 87, of Kissimmee, Florida recently relocated
back to Toledo where he passed away peacefully on March 7,
2023 after a brief illness. Roger was born to Steve and Jeanette (Larimer) on December 28, 1935.
He graduated from DeVilbiss
High School where he played basketball. Roger began work at
the age of 19 at the former Libbey Owens Ford Glass Company
in Rossford. After 30 years, he retired and moved south to
Kissimmee, Florida where he and his wife, Helen, lived for 34
years. He was a strongly devoted husband for his wife and her
primary caregiver for nearly 12 years. He enjoyed watching
Ohio State football games, fishing, doing yardwork and staying
busy. He was a great cook and made the best steaks on the grill
that we will always remember having. Surviving is his wife,
Helen (Dombrowiak) Gramza, son Jeff (Susan) Gramza,
daughters Cindy (Mike) King, Kim (Scott) Janson, 9
grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In compliance with
Rogers wishes, funeral services will be private and held at a
later date. Inurnment will take place at Fort Meigs Cemetery
in Perrysburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, Roger asked that
contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and,
being a cat lover, also to Paws and Whiskers Cat Shelter in
Toledo, Ohio. Condolences can be sent to the family through
