Robert Rayfield

Robert R. Rayfield, 74 of Monclova, Ohio formerly of Maumee, Ohio, passed away with his loving family at his bedside December 18, 2024, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo campus after a brief illness. Born November 11, 1950, in St. Louis, MO to Robert and Nancy (Shortt) Rayfield. Robert was a graduate of Perrysburg High School and attended University of Toledo.

Bob worked for Owens Illinois in the Composite Can Division until 1980. He joined the family business, Rayfield and Associates, until his retirement in 2015 as Owner / President passing the business to his son.

Bob was an active member and Elder of St. Petri Lutheran Church in South Toledo and was a past president of the Maumee High School Band Parents Organization. Bob enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. Bob also liked to golf, bowl, and dart ball.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife of 52 years Cheryl (Arnold) Rayfield, sons, Grant (Brenda) and Garrett (Meghan) Rayfield, grandchildren, Zoey, Leo, and Alexis Rayfield, and his brother, Robin (Stephanie) Rayfield.

The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Friday December 27, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. and on Saturday December 28, 2024, after 9:00 a.m. at St. Petri Lutheran Church 3120 S. Byrne road where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank all our good friends for their love and support during this difficult period. The family suggests memorials to St. Petri Lutheran Church or The Toledo Humane Society.
