Robert Jonathan Abele

Robert Jonathan Abele, 26, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday May 16, 2022. Born September 5, 1995, in Toledo, Ohio to Robin and Dory (Anderson) Abele. Robert was a graduate of Maumee High School. He was employed by FedEx, first as a handler, and had worked his way up to becoming a team leader and shift manager for a number of years. In Robert’s free time, he enjoyed playing pool, going to the casino, being on the water and having a good time with his family and friends. His laugh and smile were contagious and will be remembered by all who knew him. Robert was a good, kind hearted person with a great soul.



Surviving are his mother, Dory Abele, father Robin Abele, sisters, Kristen (Tyler) Borth, Kristine (Toby) Bean, Jessica (Richard) Carmona, Katie (Charles) Swartz, and brother Joshua (Rebecca) Shake. Robert also has many nephews and nieces and two cats, Wyatt and Mika, that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Phyllis Anderson.



The family will receive friends at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home located at

3453 Heatherdowns Blvd in Toledo, OH on Friday May 20, 2022, from 2-8pm.

Funeral services will be held at the same location on Saturday May 21, 2022, at 10:00am.

Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park located at 6832 Monroe St in Sylvania.
