Richard A. Stoos Richard A. Stoos, 57 of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 15, 2012. Born on February 9, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert and Betty Jane (Ehrlich) Stoos, Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Betty and brother, Larry. Surviving are his beloved father, Robert, sister, Dr. Barbara Anne Stoos and brother-in-law, Dr. John W. Turner, also surviving are an uncle and cousins. Rick developed and operated Superior Design, which focused on custom waterfalls and stonework. He also owned the eclectic Tradewinds Furniture and Accessories shop. He enjoyed the water, boating, restoring old cars and was devoted to his dog, Salem. Rick excelled at tales of life challenges and treasures. He was warm-hearted, kind and accepting of all others, no matter what their past or station. In everyday life he was a jack of all trades and truly enjoyed helping people. He will be terribly missed by his family. Private services were held at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. Burial took place in Highland Memory Gardens Waterville, Ohio.
