Patti L. Vliet passed away on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at The University of Toledo Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 12, 1955 to Donald and Patricia Vliet and lived in Toledo, She graduated from Larc Lane and became an employee of Lott Industries. She continued working until she retired and became an active participant in the Epilepsy Center Day Hab Program where she would read the daily weather reports out of The Blade to the other clients. She enjoyed going to church weekly at Park Church or Gesu Church until her mobility decreased. She owned her own home and enjoyed her roommates company. She was loved by her caretakers for her tenacity and stubbornness. She would give an emphatic "NO" followed by an "I Love You"; She had several names and would respond to all of them including "Miss Patti, Patticakes and Pattikins". She often talked about her family and extended epilepsy center family and enjoyed together times. She will be missed by all that knew her and cared for her. She is survived by her sister, Pamela (David) Fleck, brother, Donald Vliet, many nieces and nephews and her extended caretaker family from the Epilepsy Center.
