Olivia C Montoya

Olivia C. Montoya, 61, of Toledo passed away December 30, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Olivia was born on November 14, 1954 in Fremont, Ohio. She was the daughter of Mateo Nunceo Sr., and Josephine (Castilleja) Nunceo . During her life Olivia was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devout Catholic and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Toledo, OH. Olivia was also an avid member of The Brain Injury Association of Ohio. She was a lover of music, and was especially fond of the 70's genre. Olivia was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine (Castilleja) Nunceo ; her son, Oliver Montoya; uncle, Jessie Castilleja; brother in law, Federico Garcia, cousin joe Casares and nephew élvaro Vallejo Jr . Olivia is survived by her husband Rosendo Montoya Sr.; her children, Rosalinda (John) Guyton, Mario Montoya, Rosendo Montoya Jr., Matilda (Don) Holsopple, Maria Rivera Montoya; her sisters, Esther(Alvaro) Vallejo, Norma Torres, Rita Garcia; her brothers, Charlie Nunceo, David Hernandez, Joe Nunceo; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43614 at Byrne Road on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 4-8PM, where a funeral service will be held on January 15, 2016 at 11 AM., with procession following to Clay Center Township Cemetery.
