Norma M. Cadaret, 91, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at her home at Kingston of Sylvania. She was born September 28, 1918, in Toledo to Clarence and Marie Kachenmeister. She was married to William T. Cadaret and enjoyed 69 years of marriage. Bill and Norma were avid golfers and played in many leagues at Whiteford Valley Golf Club. They enjoyed many vacations together with the highlight being a cruise through the Panama Canal for their 50th wedding anniversary. Norma worked at the former Hudson's at Franklin Park for many years. She was a member and past president of Young Matrons affiliated through the YWCA. She was also a volunteer at The Ronald McDonald House and a den mother with the Cub Scouts for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, sister Shirley Golen, brothers Ralph, Glenn, Don and Bill Kachenmeister. She is survived by son Keith (Marge), grandsons Sean (Melissa), Scott (Jenni) and Michael (Ashley). Also by Great-grand children Graeme, Mia and Owen of Nashville and Benjamin and Sophia of Toledo, brother Merle Kachenmeister (Joanne), sister-in-law Betty Donovan and special niece Susan Pietras. Friends may call on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 2:00 until 8:00 at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home at 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. Services will be on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10:30 at the Funeral Home with Interment at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH.
