Mildred Marie Bockbrader, 106, of South Toledo passed away November 18, 2015 in her residence of 72 years. Mildred was born on October 4, 1909 in Toledo, Ohio to Henry Bernard and Ida Marie (Myers) Klokow. Mildred was a 1927 graduate of Libbey High School and attended Davis Business School. She worked as a secretary after high school, and later at the Toledo Board of Elections as a Poll worker for over 25 years, a census taker, and in the office. Mildred was a very active member of the former First English Lutheran Church and the past 8 years she attended Holly Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, cards, going to the casino and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Bockbrader in 1985 and daughter-in-law Betty Jane Bockbrader. Surviving are her sons Richard Bockbrader, Don (Gayla) Bockbrader, daughter, Joan Bockbrader, grandchildren, Terri Norvell, Timothy Bockbrader, Kristin (Rob) Martin, Holly (Jay) Matthews, Kari (David) Ramos, great grandchildren, A.J. and Audrey Norvell, Madison, Finn, and Luke Martin. The family will receive friends after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1825 Glendale Ave at River Road where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospitals, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or N.W. O Hospice, also a special thank you to Drs. Frogameni (Vicky, Nurse) and Malory and of N.W.O. Hospice, and Jeanie at Loma Lindas for making her last 7 birthdays special.
