Marilyn M Pockmire

Marilyn M Pockmire, 92, of Maumee, Ohio passed away January 27, 2016 in the Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community with her children at her side. Mrs. Pockmire was born on October 6, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio to William F and Florence (Worman) Schoof. Marilyn was a graduate of Waite High School. She was an active member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church and St Luke's Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Pockmire worked as a sales clerk for Lamson's, Lion Store and Dillard's department stores retiring as a buyer. Mrs. Pockmire was preceded in death by her husband Raymond C Pockmire of 68 years in 2012. Surviving are her son, Robert W. Pockmire of Chicago Il, daughter, Barbara (Jim) Fitzpatrick, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, grandchildren, Stephen (Cindy) Fitzpatrick, Toronto, Canada, Trevor (Marilyn) Fitzpatrick, Portland, OR, Brian Fitzpatrick, Toronto, Canada, great grandchildren, Adeline, Collin, Etta, Isla Fitzpatrick, brother William F Schoof. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 30, 2016 at St. Lucas Lutheran Church 745 Walbridge Ave Toledo, Ohio at 1:30P.M. A private interment will be held at a later date in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community for their loving care shown towards her. The family suggests memorials to Promedica Hospice, St Lucas Lutheran Church, or to the Alzheimer's Association Northwest Ohio Chapter.
