Marietta Jean Brophy Marietta Jean Brophy, age 63 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 in her daughters residence in Denver, Colorado. Marietta was born on August 18, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry and Lucille (Grubbs) Brown. Mrs. Brophy was a nurse for 30 years retiring in 2009. Surviving is her daughter, Holly Betts ( Vincent) Piturro, sons, Scott and Earl Betts Jr., grandchildren, Margaret Marietta and Marcello Vincent Piturro, sister, Rose Cherry, nieces, Pamela, Debbie, nephew, Christopher. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. Friday October 15, 2010 from 12-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. funeral services will be held Saturday October 16, 2010 in the Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
