Lila Mae Bodnar Lila Mae Bodnar, 95 of Toledo Ohio passed away Sunday July 20, 2014 in The Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek where she was a resident for the past several years. Lila was born on December 9, 1918 in Maylene, Alabama, to Elias and Effie (Layton) Bowlin. Lila worked as a sales clerk for the former Robert Hall Clothing Store. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life. Lila was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Joseph Bodnar, brothers, Harvey, Paul, Charles Bowlin, sisters, Minnie Grant, Dorothy Barnes, Pauline Holsombach. Surviving is her daughter, JoAnn (Charles Sr.) Scott, grandchildren, Charles (Laurie) Scott Jr, Robert (Letta) Scott, great grandchildren, Caitlyn Scott, Joseph Scott, C.J. Scott, John Scott, Connor Scott, nieces, Marlene (Scotty) Appleton, Jackie Davis. Also, surviving is her special friend Harley. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Wednesday July 23, 2014 4-8 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday July 24, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
