Laura L. Sweet Laura L. Sweet, 74 of Toledo, Ohio passed away August 27, 2012 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio (Toledo Campus). Mrs. Sweet was born November 28, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to Noah J. and Erma B. (Brown) Gray. Laura was a graduate of the former DeVilbiss High School. Laura worked for the Toledo Public School system for 33 years as a secretary in the school nurses offices at Start High School and Woodward High School. Laura was an active member of the Local and State PTA associations and was an active member of the Local Democrat Party working on several campaigns. Laura was preceded in death by her husband Lyle R. Sweet. Surviving are her son's Kyle (Carleen) Sweet, James (Rachael) Sweet, Brian (Sherri) Sweet, daughter, Gayle (John) Iliff, brother, james Gray, grandchildren, Angela (Andy) Operacz, Megan, Katie, Summer, Sierra, Shane, Aaron Sweet, Benjamin Iliff, great grandchild, Tatum Operacz, step- grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah), Tom Derminer. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Thursday 2-8 P.M. August 30, 2012 where services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday August 31. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
