Judy Ann (Paepke-Hill) Kleopfer passed away into the kingdom of heaven February 18, 2010, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Judy was born January 18, 1942, in Temperance, Michigan to William and Mildred (Cherry) Paepke. Judy graduated from Bedford High School and attended Stautzenberger College. She worked many years as a secretary at numerous companies in and around the Toledo area. Judy was a past member of the Toledo Mother of Twins Club, the Lutheran Women's Society and was a member of Cedar Creek Church. She enjoyed traveling, camping, baking and cooking. One of Judy's most memorable moments was when she won first place in an apple pie contest in which there were nearly 60 entrants. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, but most of all with the love of her life, her best friend and husband, Joe. Judy touched many hearts; she will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who loved her. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her motherly wisdom, integrity and compassion. Judy's favorite reply to nearly every challenge in life was "and this too shall Pass" Judy is survived by her husband, Joseph A; Children, Christine K. Hill-Strong and Charlene K. (David) Wirth; Sherri A. (Christopher) Dauer; step children, Joey (Julie) Kleopfer, Kim Kleopfer, Debbie (Alan) Kledzik and Rick Kleopfer; Grandchildren, Jordan, Julia-Grace, Sarah, Danielle, Joey, Doug, Samantha, Jessica, Nick, Chad; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Faith Hope Wirth, brothers, Carl (Ellen) Paepke and Junior Paepke; Sisters, Maude (Fred) Griner and Fern (Henry) Eichenberg. A memorial service is being held at Cedar Creek Church 29129 Lime City Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio on Thursday March 11, at 6:00 P.M. with a potluck immediately following the service. Guest are encouraged to bring a dish to share such as casserole, side dish etc. In addition, anyone is welcome to bring carrot cake or apple pie for dessert, as these were Judy's favorites. Prepared foods may be brought into the South Atrium of the Church before the service God bless you and your family with a wonderful day . Arrangements are being handled by Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home. The family wants to especially thank Dr. Tita at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and Nurses as well as the staff of Odyssey Health Care (Hospice)for their support and kindness, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
