Judith L 'Judy' Lang

Judith "Judy" L. Lang Judith "Judy" L. Lang, age 68, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her family on Saturday February 19, 2011. Judy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 28, 1942 to Kenneth and Jean (Hetzell) Weiss. Judy received her Bachelor's degree in medical technology and a teaching certificate in special education. She focused on teaching the deaf and also taught special education in the Toledo Public Schools for 25 years. Judy was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader and a den mother. She remained active in Scouts for 45 years in the Toledo area. She was a room mother at Horace Mann Elementary School and a band booster for Whitmer High School Band. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Weiss. Judy's memory will live on through her husband Bill Lang; son, Brian (Marianne Streb) Lang; daughter, Emily (Edward) Ordorica; grandsons, Daniel and Andrew Ordorica; father, Kenneth Weiss; brother, Ken (Susan) Weiss; sister, Sally Weiss; niece Katrina Weiss. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday March 6, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Ashland Church, 2350 Starr Ave. Oregon, Ohio 43605 Pastor Edward P. Sladek officiating. A private inurnment service will be held for the family at a different time. The family suggests memorials be sent to Ashland Church or Girl Scouts of Western Ohio at 2244 Collingwood Blvd, Toledo, Ohio 43620.
