John T. Mcdonald

John T. McDonald (Pappy) John T. McDonald, age 77 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the Swan Point Care Center, Maumee, Ohio. Mr. McDonald was born in Steubenville, Ohio on September 13, 1933 to Francis and Agnes (Hughes) McDonald. Mr. McDonald was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Steubenville, Ohio and received his associates degree in history from the Pasadena Community College in Pasadena CA. Mr. McDonald played Rugby for the Toledo Celtic's Rugby Club and was involved with The Toledo Rep as an Actor for a number of Years. John was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. McDonald worked for Chrysler Jeep in the Paint Shop for 20 years retiring in 1998, previously; he worked for Surface combustion as a pipe fitter for 18 years and was a member of the U.A.W. Surviving are his son, Daniel (Nancy) McDonald, of Toledo, daughters, Lorna McDonald of Guadalajara Mexico, Cara McDonald of Toledo, grandchildren, Daniella Mazzocca, Adrianne McDonald, Sean McDonald. Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his parents, and sister's Margie Gallant, Betty Carr, Maryjane Pierce. A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 28, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. in the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd where the family will receive friends after 5:00 P.M.
