Joanne M Manzek Joanne M Manzek, age 83 of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 24, 2015 at Perrysburg Commons. Joanne was born on June 7, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Henry and Della (Fincham) Schultz. Joanne was a Homemaker and a Life member of St. Petri Lutheran Church serving on the Altar Guild, Donald Koontz V.F.W. Post 11115, and was active in the Lions Club along with her husband. Joanne was an avid and talented crafter, cook and baker. She loved sharing her talents with others. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton P Manzek in 2009, Brother Robert Schultz, Sister In Law, Jean Schultz, daughter in law Suzanne Manzek. Surviving is her son, Paul (Monica) Manzek, daughter, Debbie (Fr. Ernie) Sampson, grandchildren, Tammy Roberts, Bradley Roberts, Amanda Sexton, and Ernie Sampson III, Christina (Russ) Eck also surviving are 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road on Friday 2-8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday March 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Heartland Hospice, or charity of their choice.
