Joanne H Getz, 94 of Toledo, Ohio passed away February 19, 2021 in the Ohio Living Swan Creek after a brief Illness. Born in Toledo, Ohio to Clyde and Helen (Lewis) Elliot. Joanne was a graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor's in business administration. Joanne worked for Vroman Foods as an Executive Secretary for many years. Joanne was an active member for 30 years of Church of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and was a former member of Monroe Street United Methodist Church. Joanne was also a member of the National Secretary Association.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband William Getz, Daughter in Law, Debra Hill. Surviving is her son, David Hill, grandchildren, Shawna Hill, David "Bo" (Karie) Hill, Michael Hill, great grandchildren, Ryan, Ally Hill. The family would like to thank the staff at Ohio Living Swan Creek and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. Thursday February 25, 2021 after 9:30 a.m. where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggest memorials to Church of St. Andrew.
