Joanne E Hill

Joanne E. Hill, 84, of Bowling Green and formally of Toledo, passed away May 10, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Brookdale Senior Living, where she had been a resident for the last few years of her life. Joanne was born on January 29, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio. She was the daughter of Chester Ritchey and Laura (Weyandt) Ritchey. Joanne was a secretary for Willy's Jeep for 35 years. In her leisure, Joanne enjoyed traveling, gardening, genealogy, and was an avid collector of Barbie Dolls. Her collection of Barbie dolls was extensive and a large portion of her collection was donated to a doll museum in Columbus, OH and Toys for Tots in 2007. Joanne was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Hill Jr., and her son; Kenneth George Hill. She is survived by her daughters; Amy (Tim) Smith, Lorelei Hill, Sons; Robert Hill, David (Elaine) Hill, brother; Norman Ritchey, grandchildren; Kenneth Smith, Dean Smith, Alexis Smith, Carly Smith, Jacob Hill, and Sam Miller. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of donor's choice.
