Jerold A. Noss

Jerold A. Noss, 75 of Whitehouse, Ohio formerly of South Toledo passed away Tuesday April 18, 2023, in the University of Toledo Medical Hospital after a brief illness. Born June 27, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio to Jack and Muriel (Craner) Noss.

Jerold graduated from E.L. Bowsher High School in 1965. Jerold graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Economics with a minor in Chemistry where he was a member and president of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Jerold served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.

Jerold worked for the City of Toledo for over 30 years, eventually becoming Chief Chemist in the Environmental Services department and taught Chemistry at Owens Community College for 5 years.

Jerold was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan. Jerold enjoyed golfing with his family at Valleywood and Whitepines golf courses.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years whom he married on June 18, 1971, Susan (Getter) Noss, Sons, Brian Noss, Andrew (Katie) Noss, sisters, Jackie (Chuck) Freed, Janet Smith, also surviving is his 4-legged buddy Mickey.

A Celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd Toledo, Ohio. Condolences can be sent the Noss family thru the Berstickerscottfuneralhome.com
