Jeffrey Loos

Jeffrey A. Loos, 78, passed away unexpectedly on October 15, 2024, at his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 28, 1945, to H. Carleton and Margaret A. (Roeck) Loos. He attended Libbey and E. L. Bowsher High Schools. He earned both his BS in Civil Engineering and his MBA from The University of Toledo. Jeff began a thirty-year career at Ford Motor Company in 1969, as a Product Design Engineer in the Transmission and Chassis Division. He held several supervisory positions prior to his retirement.

Jeff's interest in computers continued into his retirement years. He enjoyed teaching family, friends and acquaintances to navigate the complexities of computers, upgrading and rebuilding as needed. His patience and perseverance to resolve issues were endless.

Jeff is survived by his sisters, Valerie Shinaberry, Mary Loos, and Linda Richardson, niece Jennifer (Scott) Clark and nephews Derek (Lauren) Shinaberry and Michael (Nadia) Richardson.

A private graveside service will be held on December 23 with arrangements by the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd.
