Janet S. McCormick Janet S. McCormick, age 54 of Toledo passed away Saturday April 9, 2011 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Janet was born in Canton, Ohio on October 16, 1956 to William C. and Maxine J. (Romine) McCormick. Janet worked as Nursing Assistant at the Ann Grady Center and at various other Group Homes and Nursing Homes. Surviving are her parents William & Maxine McCormick, Sister, Barbara Code (Tom), Nephew, Michael O'Brien (Michelle), Nieces, Lisa Franta (Rob), Erin Owoade (Funmi) and 6 nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her brother, David McCormick, Grandparents, Samuel and Ada Romine, William A. McCormick, Rose McCormick Rousseau, and many aunts and uncles. A Celebration of life service will be held at St. Petri Lutheran Church 3120 S. Byrne Rd at 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 16, 2011. Pastor David Vinciguerra officiating. A private internment will be held at a later date in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to St. Petri Lutheran Church, MADD, Big Brothers & Sisters.
