Janet Ruth Yeager, 63 of Toledo passed away February 18, 2017 in Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Born September 4, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio to William E. and Ruth A. (Biggs) Beach. Janet was a survivor of a single lung transplant in 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic. Janet was a graduate of Bowsher High School and the University of Toledo School of Nursing earning her RN/BSN. Janet worked at The University of Toledo Medical Center for six years in the Hematology and Oncology department before retiring in 2008. Previously Janet worked for a number of years in the automotive parts department as a parts manger with the Brown Automotive Group and also various other automotive dealerships. Janet was an avid gardener and a volunteer with the Girl and Boy Scouts. She was also involved with animal rescue programs. She adopted many furry and feathered friends over the years. Janet was preceded in death by her father William Beach. Surviving are her husband, James Yeager; mother, Ruth Beach; daughter, Rachel Davis; step-daughters, Ellen Russell, Aileen Heise, Jennifer Dahmani; sisters, Judith (Bruce) Mead, Sue (Larry) Mead, Peggy (Ken) Kissling, Carrie (Carl) George; brother, Bob (Deb) Beach; grandson, Jameson Morris; granddaughter Baya Dahmani. Also surviving are a number of step-grand and great grandchildren. And very special sister-in-law Kris Beach. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road Friday February 24, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. and Saturday February 25, 2017 after 9:30 A.M. where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will take place at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
