Janet “Jan” Carolyn Gollehon

Janet “Jan” Carolyn Gollehon, 83, of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 24, 2022, in Genacross Lutheran Services-Wolf Creek. Janet was born on March 26, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio to James Otto and Jennie Caroline (Floering) Pfeiffer. Janet worked as a salesclerk for Fanny Farmers Candy store at the Parkway Plaza store and help start the Southwyck location. Janet also assisted her brother in the printing business at the former RPM Press doing contract printing for the Lucas Co Boad of Education. Janet was a 1956 graduate of Libbey High School which she served on the reunion committee for many years. Janet was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and Maumee Elks and Eagle’s Auxiliary and the Toledo Sailing Club serving 3 terms as Auxiliary president. Janet was also an avid Mud Hens Fan for a number of years never missing a home game when they where on Key Street.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Gollehon, brother, John Carl Pfeiffer. Surviving is her son, James “Jamie” Thomas Gollehon, grandsons, Joel V., Sean M, Seth J. Gollehon.

The family will receive friends and relatives at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd, on Tuesday February 1, 2022, after 10:00 where services to follow at 12:00 Noon. A Private Inurnment will take place in Oak Harbor Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Bethel Lutheran Church or Assistance Dogs for Achieving Independence.
