James W 'Jim' Woodbury Sr.

James (Jim) Woodbury Sr., 73, of Toledo passed away after a brief Illness February 08, 2016 at Flower Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born on April 14, 1942 in Bowling Green, Ohio. He was the Son of Wayne Woodbury and Ruth (Hillier) Woodbury. Jim Graduated from Woodward High School in 1960, where he participated in football and wrestling. He retired from General Motors Power Train Production after 45 years. Jim was an avid Golfer. He enjoyed attending university of Toledo football games and tailgating with family and friends and attending women's basketball games. Go rockets!!!One of Jim's favorite pass times was having a backyard camp fire with close friends and grandkids. He was also an active member of The Toledo Sailing Club. Jim is survived by his loving wife Debbie (Lattin) Woodbury; his sons, James (Debra) Woodbury, Travis ( Dawn) Woodbury ; he was the best second dad to, Jodi Flores, Kevin(Breanne) Horvath, Jamie (Josh) Zibbel; His siblings, Nancy(Tom) Connolly, Doug(Jan) Woodbury, Sue(Larry) Dunn, Dick(Jose) Woodbury, Barb (Erich) Sperr; his grandkids, Dustin(Brittney), Travis Jr., Noah, Morgan, Presley, Avery, Ava, Brody, Shelby, Olen; many, nieces, nephews, he had the best group of friends anyone could ask for, and his dog, Maks. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Dawn. There will be a celebration of life in honor of Jim at the Toledo Sailing Club on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 5:30PM.
