Helen M Lanahan

Helen M Lanahan Helen Mae Lanahan, age 90 formerly of Woodhaven Toledo, Ohio passed away December 29, 2012 in the Parkcliffe Community. Helen was born on January 3, 1922 in Gibsonburg, Ohio to John and Mable (Baker) Kille. Helen worked part-time as a sales clerk former Balduf Bakery, The Tackle Box, and Carl's Book & Bibles. Helen was a 50 year member of Collingwood United Methodist Church and was an avid seamstress. Helen enjoyed traveling with friends, line dancing, playing cards, and participating in church activities. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Dale M., son, Dale E., brothers, Tom Kille, Skippy, and grandson Christopher Lanahan. Surviving is her daughter in law Mary Lanahan-Wright, grandsons, Dave Lanahan, Pat (Joy) Lanahan, great grandchildren, Blain and Claire Lanahan, family friend Amy Lanahan, nieces Joyce (john) Harwood and Helen Mae Killie and nephew Freddie(Tammie) Killie. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd Friday January 4, 2013 after 11:30 a.m. where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
