Franklin C Hale

Franklin C Hale Franklin C Hale, age 84 of Maumee, Ohio passed away March 13, 2013. Mr. Hale was born on December 15, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to Clifford G. and Mary M. (Souders) Hale. Mr. Hale was a 1947 graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson, Michigan and was a graduate of Miami University in 1952 where he belonged to the Sigma Chi fraternity. Mr. Hale was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, on a minesweeper, during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hale worked for number of years for Merrill Lynch as a stock broker. Franklin and his wife Cornelia moved to Florida in 1994 and just recently moved back this past May. Franklin and Cornelia were Miami Mergers from Miami University. Cornelia preceded Franklin in death in 2002. Surviving are his daughters, Melinda (Al) Koeninger, Jennifer (Jayme) Kurtyka Alison (Dan) Brumenshenkel, Grandchildren, Whitney (Josh) Pyle, Dayna (Jason) Fralicker, Shannon Brumenshenkel, Brian Brumenshenkel, Jason Kurtyka, Stuart Kurtyka, Nicholas Kurtyka, great grandchildren, Layla and Deacon Pyle, brother, Harold (Shirley) Hale and nephews. A memorial service will take place on Thursday March 21, 2013 at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd at 2:00 P.M. a private burial will take place a Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
