Francis "Fran" Xavier Tesorero of Jupiter, Fla was taken to heaven on September 1, 2018 at his Summer Home in Point Place. Born on May 1, 1932 in Boston Massachusetts to John Joseph and Elizabeth Mary (Pontuso) Tesorero. Fran was and Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Fran was employed by Kimberly Clark as District Sales Manager for 32 years. He was a proud member of The Toledo Yacht Club, and Life member of the United States Power Squadron. Fran was also co-founder of the Ottawa River Improvement Association, which later became ORKA; Fran was honored as Ol'Man of the River in 1992.
Fran was preceded in death by his first wife Esther (Palmer) Tesorero, brothers, John Tesorero Jr, Theodore Tesorero. Beloved husband of Karen (Modine) Tesorero, Father of Francis Xavier (Barbara) Tesorero Jr, Joseph Tesorero, Elizabeth (Michael) Riehl, James (Diana) Tesorero, Linda (Paul) Woelmer, John Tesorero, Step-Father to Karen Karrick, Nancy Soltes, Paul (Melanie) Soltes, Matthew Soltes, Kirk (Stephanie) Soltes, and Sister: Catherine (Fred) Ravens, also surviving are 20 loving grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd Thursday September 6, 2018 from 2-5 & 6-9 P.M. with Scripture services at 7:00 p.m. followed by The Toledo Sail and Power Squadron Service at 7:30 P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Toledo St. John the Baptist Church 5153 N. Summit Street September 7, 2018 at 2 P.M. The family will receive friends after 1:00 P.M. in the Narthex of the Church. Memorials can be directed to Toledo St. John the Baptist Church or The Toledo Yacht Club Foundation Elevator Fund.
