Elsie Luella Barnes Woolley May 27, 1907-October 21, 2010 The family of Elsie L. Woolley mourns the passing of her earthly journey and rejoins in the passing of her spirit into eternal life. A longtime resident of South Toledo, Elise lived at 1307 South St. for 50 years. Elsie was very active in Girl Scouts for 45 years, and was a member of Margaret Hunt Senior Center, where she done a lot of ceramic, which she was very proud. She traveled to all 52 states and several overseas. Preceded in death by her husband, Dorris D., parents Edith and Fred Barnes, sister, Alice Weaver, brother, Bryce Barnes, Daughter in law, Sandra Woolley, Son in law, Alva Shroyer. Living to cherish her memory son, Lyle, Oak Harbor, Ohio, Daughters, Barbara (Ed) Stidom, Catawba Island, Ohio, Mary Shroyer, VanBuren, Ohio, Grandchildren, Dennis (Denice) Woolley,Oak Harbor,Ohio, David (Kim) Woolley, Oak Harbor, Ohio, Great Grandchildren, Kaysandra and Shawn David Woolley, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday October 25, 2010 in the Bersticker Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. at 7:30 P.M. where the family will receive friends after 3:00 P.M. A private burial will be held in Maplegrove Cemetery in Findlay, Ohio on Tuesday. The family suggests memorials to the charity of donor's choice.
