Dolores Ellen Glanzman Dolores Ellen Glanzman, age 88, formerly of Mapleway Drive, South Toledo, passed away at the Manor of Perrysburg on Friday, March 16, 2012. She was born in Toledo on January 5, 1924 to the late Harvey and Minnie Sours. She graduated from Libbey High School in 1942. On January 2, 1943, Dolores married Donald Louis Glanzman. They were married 67 years until his passing on November 15, 2010. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffry Don in 1996; and her brother Richard Sours. Dolores is survived by her children, Jenny (Tom) DuBois of Perrysburg, Ohio and Mark (Elizabeth) Glanzman of Bradenton, Florida; sisters, Myra (Ed) Weirich of Toledo, Ohio and Faith (Thomas) Ricketts of Rossford, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Dolores and Don were transferred through his employers 13 times resulting in many lasting friendships over the years. She worked several retail positions at Halles, LaSalle's, Macy's and Elder-Beerman. She was a fabulous cook and seamstress. She hosted numerous family get together's, always generous and thinking of others before herself. A graveside service to celebrate Dolores's life will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, March 24 2012 at 11:00 A.M. The family would like to thank the staff at the Manor of Perrysburg for their care, including Becky, Cody, John, and especially DeAnn and Rosa who were gracious, loving, and devoted caregivers.
