Dolores A 'Granny' Farber

Dolores A. "Granny" Farber Dolores A. "Granny" Farber, 92, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 23, 2010. Born November 14, 1917 in St. Charles, Michigan, too Clarence and Rosina (Davis) Wright. Dolores worked for the former Tavel's and Tiedtke's department stores in the furniture department. Dolores was a member of Triune Chapter No. 344 O.E.S. and the Disabled American Veterans. Dolores was a self taught crafter winning numerous craft ribbons at the Lucas Co. Fair several years in a row. Dolores attended night school along with her daughter graduating 30 years to the date of her orginial graduation date from Scott High School. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband in 1977 Millard S. Farber, brothers Clarence (Dolores) and Donald "Dick" Wright, Sister, Dorothea (Lester) Hacker. Surviving is her Daughter, Alda Farber, Granddaughters, Cathy and Sue Hall, Daughter in law, Ellen Hall and Sister in Law, Shirley Wright. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne rd. Thursday March 25, 2010 4-8 P.M. where services will be held Friday March 26, at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Toledo Animal Shelter 640 Wyman St. Toledo, Ohio 43609.
