Dean R. Lytle Dean R. Lytle age 83 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on March 21, 2011 in his residence. Dean was born on May 27, 1927 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Ralph and Marie (Goodman) Lytle. Dean was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Lytle was an insurance adjustor for Motors Insurance for 29 years. Mr. Lytle was preceded in death by his wife JoAnne this past June of 2010 and sister Joanne Griggs. Surviving are daughter, Kay (Richard) Walter, son, Thomas (Deborah) Lytle, grandchildren, Christopher Carsten, Rebecca (Seth) Lemmons, Deanna (Jon) Woolf, Gregory Lytle. Dean's life was filled with family activities. He had many hobbies that utilized his mechanical skills including the restoration of antique outboard motors. Dean especially cherished his fishing trips in Canada and the Irish Hills. For many years, he and JoAnne enjoyed time with friends at their trailer on Marble Lake, Michigan. Dean was a member of Fulton County Sportsmen Club. A memorial service will be held on Monday March 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd where the family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. A private inurnment will be held in Oak Harbor Union Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Toledo Animal Shelter or the charity of the donor's choice.
