Betty L Ellis Betty L. Ellis, 83 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday July 28, 2011 in Swanton Valley Care & Rehabilitation Center. Betty was born on September 18, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Carson and Esther (Carr) DeWese. Mrs. Ellis worked at the Kmart on Reynolds Rd for 10 years in the Grill and Deli department retiring in 1982. Mrs. Ellis was an avid Bingo player at Little Flower Church. Betty was preceded in death by her husband in 1985 Frank C. Ellis and her son in 2006 Frank C. Ellis Jr. Surviving are her daughters, Debbie (Stephen) Lyons, West Chester PA., Betty (Robert) Aitken, Swanton, OH, Grandchildren, Frank and Melissa Ellis, Michael and Gregory Lyons, Allen and Anna Aitken. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Tuesday August 2, 2011 from 9:00 till 11:00 A.M. with a private family burial service to follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
