Betty C 'Cathy' Garn

Betty C. (Cathy) Garn Betty C. (Cathy) Garn, 68 of Toledo passed away April 28, 2014 in her residence after a 5 year battle with cancer. Betty was born November 12, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Dewey and Betty Jean (Yeager) Moccabee. Betty was a graduated in the first graduating class of Bowsher High School. Betty worked for over 20 years as a sales clerk for Big Lots in the Southland Shopping Center. Betty enjoyed watching her granddaughter at horse shows and was an avid bowler at the former Airport Lanes and also was an Avid Detroit Tigers Fan. Betty was preceded in death by her both her parents, husband, Dennis J. Garn, son, Dennis M. Garn. Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Fischer, granddaughter, Katlyne Fischer, brothers, Sam (Pam) Moccabee, Terry Moccabee, Tim (Sharon) Moccabee. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road. Friday May 2, 2014 4-8 P.M. where services will be held Saturday May 3, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
