Barbara Dykyj Barbara Dykyj, 85 of South Toledo passed away February 3, 2015 in Heartland of Holly Glen. Mrs. Dykyj was born on May 28, 1929 in Bochia, Yugoslavia to John and Hermina (Wingert) Marx. Barbara worked for 22 years for Oracle Packaging retiring as an inspector in 1994. Barbara was an avid gardener around her home. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband John Dykyj in 1984. Surviving are her sons Steve (Pat) Dykyj, Dennis (Jean) Dykyj, grandchildren, Rachel Andrikanich, Sara Dykyj, Rebecca Dykyj, Christopher Dykyj. The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road on Thursday February 5, 2015 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday February 6, 2015 followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the charity of the donor's choice.
