Arlene L. Baird Arlene L. Baird, age 73, was called to the Lord on Thursday April 1, 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Arlene was born September 17, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio, to Arnold and Mildred (Campbell) Baird. Arlene dedicated her life to teaching the 3rd grade students at Oakdale elementary school. Arlene graduated from Libbey High School and the University of Toledo. Arlene was a very giving person who attended church at Calvary Assembly of God. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Dale) Hull; and 7 nieces and Nephews, who reside in Australia. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Mildred Baird. She will be missed by her dear friends Larry and Jeannie Toon and their family. A memorial service will be held at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. on Friday April 9, 2010 with a gathering starting at 3:00 P.M. Inurnment will be held in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials can be directed to Calvary Assembly of God or to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
