Anne Marie Zahradnik

Anne Marie Zahradnik passed away unexpectedly Friday October 2nd at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born October 9, 1948 to Francis Zahradnik and Nancy (Barnes) Zahradnik in Toledo, OH. Anne was very proud of completing her college degree working full time and taking classes. In 1991 when Toledo Edison offered their first retirement package Anne was one who chose to take it and she retired from Toledo Edison at the age of 42 as Manager of the Edison Club in Maumee, OH. She is survived by her brother Jim (Lyn) Zahradnik sister Laurie (Bob) Gorzelski, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and two special Goddaughters. She has now joined her parents, two brothers and Grandparents. Anne enjoyed attending dog and cat shows, gardening, photography, nature walks, her weekly dinners and lunches and movie nights with dear friends. She will be deeply missed at the Holidays and family functions with the family pinochle games. The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road on Thursday October 8 2015 2-8 p.m. with a celebration of life services held at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Toledo Humane Society. We wish to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Valentina Jindal and her staff at St. Luke Emergency Room for their care and compassion.
