Andy 'Smitty' Smith

Andy Smith (Smitty) died suddenly November 15th 2017 at his home in Charlotte NC. Andy was born in Biloxi MS. October 3, 1985 to Tina and Tim Smith who survive him. Andy is also survived by his daughters Brielle and Jaelyn, son Mateo, sister Erica Smith, grandparents Lillian Scalia and Carol and Jim Smith, many loving aunts, uncles, nephews, niece and cousins. Andy was a 2004 graduate of Bowsher High School where he excelled in basketball. Andy enjoyed cooking, hiking and was an avid Michigan fan (which his father never understood). Andy was a person who would help anyone who asked and if you needed a friend he was the first in line to be there for you. He will forever be remembered by all that knew him for that infectious smile that would light up any room. Andy will be remembered during a visitation Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo OH 43614. Memorial services will immediately follow. A celebration of Andy will take place in Charlotte on Saturday December 9th. Details will be published through social media.
