Alda Mae Farber

Alda Mae Farber Alda Mae Farber, 76 of Toledo, Ohio passed away May 9, 2017 in The Toledo Hospital. Alda was born June 30, 1940 to Millard S and Dolores A (Wright) Farber in Altoona, PA. Alda was a graduate of Scott High School and the University of Toledo with an associate's degree in business. Alda worked for The Toledo Hospital in the records and billing office and previously worked for the former Tiedtke's Department stores in the office. Alda coordinated the annual Christmas and summer events for the Tiedtke's retirees for many years. Alda was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Alda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Farber. Surviving are her cousin Christine (James) Jagodzinski; aunts, Helen Farber and Shirley Wright; nieces, Cathy and Sue Hall; sister-in-law, Ellen Hall; and many cousins. Friends may visit at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne on Sunday May 14, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:00 p.m. The mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Charles Borromeo Church 1842 Airport Hwy on Monday May 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. friends will be received at the Church after 9:30 a.m. Monday morning. Interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
