Joe E. Mitchell

Joe E. Mitchell, 76, of Toledo, passed away October 23, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born September 7, 1941 in Dorothy, WV to Carl and Orpha (Cantrell) Mitchell. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith Ann Mitchell; brothers, James and John; sisters, Rebecca, Betty and Doris, and sons, Eddie and Joey. Surviving are his sons, Todd Mitchell, and Jason (Angela) Mitchell; 5 grandchildren, Joey, Olivia, Jacob, Alyssa, and Andrew; as well as brothers, Paul and Jerry (Toni) and sister-in-law, Pat Mitchell. The family will receive friends and family at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. at Byrne Rd, Toledo, Ohio on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 12-3 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
