Doris M. Houck

Doris Moul Houck - age 94 of Keygate Dr., Toledo, Ohio, died on April 26, 2018 at Elizabeth Scott Community, Maumee, Ohio. Doris was born on September 15, 1923 to Walter and Margaret Moul and married Kenneth J. Houck, in Altoona, PA on March 24.1950. She and Ken moved to Toledo, Ohio in 1950. She was a deacon and active member of First Presbyterian Church, Maumee, Ohio and former member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio. She was an avid bridge player and member of Tuesday Girls, Maumee Senior Center, Jr. Coterie, Laurel Hill Swim & Tennis Club, and Up River Book Club. Doris is survived by her son Thomas (Patricia), daughter Susan Maguire (Thomas), 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken and son Steven. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at First Presbyterian Church, Maumee, Ohio on Friday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. There will be no visitation. Interment will be private at Fort Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church, Maumee, Ohio, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or donor's choice.
