Barbara Ruth Glanzman 1928-2022

Barbara Ruth (Lawson) Glanzman 94, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Thursday December 22, 2022 – after a short illness.

Barbara was born May 25, 1928, near Bronson, Michigan and grew up on a farm.

She graduated from Brighton High School in Indiana. In 1944 Barbara along with her parents and sisters moved to Toledo, Ohio. Soon after, she married future husband James and had 3 children.

A longtime member of the Church of St. Andrew, Barbara was a fantastic piano player. She played at family gatherings, at Hospice of N.W.O., and at Bersticker – Scott funeral home. She loved gardening, reading, and attending her granddaughters many softball games, dance recitals and choir concerts. She loved to cook and bake she also had to have her ice cream!

She is survived by her husband Jim and their 3 children: son Jerry (Diane), daughters Holly and Jill, as well as 3 granddaughters: Amy, Ashlee (McGregor) & Allison (Trey). Also, 2 great grandchildren: Knox and Joseph (Baby Q).

The family will receive friends at The Church of St. Andrew United Methodist at 3620 Heatherdowns Blvd Toledo, Ohio at 12:00 Noon on Saturday January 7, 2023, services will beheld at 1:00 p.m.
