Robert Franklin Quigley, 83 of Homosassa, Florida, formerly of Temperance, Michigan passed away January 24, 2017 in the Hospice of Citrus Co of the Nature Coast Hospice House after a brief illness. Mr. Quigley was born on January 11, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Ray H. and Irene Quigley. Mr. Quigley served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Quigley worked for the Reynolds & Reynolds for 15 years retiring in 1992. Mr. Quigley was a former member of Ashland Church and the American Legion Post of Ida, Michigan.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Kay June Quigley; parents, Ray H. and Irene Quigley; son, Donald James Quigley; brother, John Mahaffey; sister, Cleo Green. Surviving are his son, Robert (Deborah) Jr.; daughter, Laura Quigley-Wysocki; grandchildren, Travis and Alexandria Quigley, Aaron (Nicole),
Jeremy (Kara), Derek (Tom) and Blake Wysocki, Kyle (Ashley) and Tyler Quigley; also surviving many great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd., at Byrne Road Sunday January 29, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. where services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
