Condolence From: The Avell Family
Condolence: We will all miss John so much as he's been a part of our family for 9 years. It was wonderful to know his family and to watch him finish raising his girls. He treasured family so much - his family, our family, friends' families... it didn't matter, his heart was huge. He was always full of such great advice about parenting, animals, life in general... he was a very knowledgeable guy who loved to share with others. He had such a fun-loving spirit and an admirable happiness about life. We will always remember our fun outings together, our theater experiences with him, game nights, and what an excellent friend, dad, grandpa and neighbor he was. We know he was especially proud of his beautiful daughters, and we pray for their healing and for the healing of the rest of John's family. We thank God that we got the chance to know John and call him friend.
"Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted." - Matthew 5:4
"He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds." - Psalm 147:3

Love, Chris, Lisa, Taylor, Samantha, Disney, Christopher, and Luke

Condolence: I know John through our mutual participation in community theater in Northwest Ohio. I first met him during the intermission of my debut with a Williams County Community Theater. He came down and introduced himself. Ever since, I have been not only extremely blessed to share the stage but also know him as a dear, loving friend. His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren all of whom he loved deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with Emily, Katie, Jenny, and Liz and the rest of the family.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the unexpected passing of John. I have known John since he was a student at The Defiance College, and worked with him at NWOCA. John was a gifted and special man, who would do anything he could to help someone in need. John also had a special love for family, and was particularly proud of his daughters and his grandchildren. In the words of Albert Einstein, "Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us." I am certain that John is proud that his presence lives on in this world through his family. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
